1. Mit Kritikern mein ich immerhin keine Magazine ala Rolling Stone oder Pitchfork. Das kann ich verstehen, dass die teilweise einen schlechten Ruf haben. Ich vertrau da eher auf individuelle Meinungen oder Seiten auf denen normale User Musik bewerten.

2. Bin normalerweise eh eher ein Fan von Up-Tempo. Ich meine ich mag sogar Ska-Punk.

3. Dass ein Lied gut gesungen wurde bzw die Stimme besser zum Vorschein kommt heißt ja noch lange nicht, dass es ein besserer Song ist. Ich halte zB auch I Will Always Love You für deutlich schlechter als zB I Wanna Dance With Somebody. (Fällt spontan kein anderes Beispiel grade ein)

Ist aber tatsächlich auch für mich einer der Fälle, der meine These widerspricht, weil ich nicht finde, dass Whitney Houston bei I will always love you wirklich zeigen kann, dass sie gut singen kann. Klar, die Töne musst du auch erstmal so lange so gut halten, aber irgendwann ist’s ja mehr Gejaule.

Ah spannend. Ich glaube ich würde so ranken:

1. Roads to Judah
2. Sunbather
3. Ordinary Corrupt Human Love
4. Infinite Granite
5. New Bermuda

Ist aber auf jeden Fall ne gute Band. Mittlerweile auch live nen Erlebnis. Auf den ersten 2-3 Euro Touren war die Stimme des Sängers imo etwas schwach.

Angehört weil es in der Top 10 des Jahres von einem Youtuber war den ich verfolge und das interessant klang. Wenn man mit den nordafrikanisch/arabischen Rhythmen und der Sprache (irgendeine Tuareg-Sprache) klar kommt, hat mein ein faszinierendes Album von einem wirklich extrem guten Gitarristen. Die Solos sind teilweise richtig stark.

Hab bei RateYourMusic in der 2021er Liste nach Alben mit dem Tag Hardcore Punk gehört und mir aus den Top 20 zwei kurze Alben rausgesucht.

So, dann kommen wir mal zu den Jahrescharts.

Hier habe ich leider ein kleines Problem. Ich habe mich dieses Jahr auf Alben und ältere Musik konzentriert und nicht mehr regelmäßig die US-Rockcharts verfolgt wie in den vergangen Jahren. Und von vielen neuen Alben die ich gehört habe, landeten keine Songs in meiner dauerhaften Playlist.
Das bringt mich zu dem Punkt, dass ich keine vernünftige Top 100 Songs des Jahres hinbekomme. Ich bin auf 75 gekommen, gerade so.

Also mache ich das dieses Jahr etwas anders.

1. Ein Ranking mit allen 2021er Alben wird normal gepostet.
2. Ich werde ebenfalls im neuen Jahr mal eine Liste (vielleicht eine Docs-Liste) mit allen bisher von mir bewerteten Alben posten. Und ein paar Ratings werden mal geändert.
3. Zu den Top Songs: Ich habe entschieden, dass ich statt der normalen Jahres Top 100 eine Liste mit meinen meistgehörtesten Songs des Jahres poste.
-> Das bedeutet: Ich werte auf der Seite Last.fm meine Spotify Statistiken aus und poste die 150 Songs die ich dieses Jahr am meisten gehört habe.
-> Zusätzlich kommen noch auf Platz 151 bis 175, die 25 nächstbestplatziertesten Songs die 2021 rauskamen oder 2020 und nicht in meiner Liste letztes Jahr waren.
4. Ebenfalls kommt danach eine Liste mit den Intepreten die ich 2021 am meisten gehört habe.

Die Songsliste wird einzeln gepostet, alle anderen als normale Liste in einem Post. Das ganze passiert aber erst nächstes Jahr, weil ich dann tatsächlich die Statistiken vom 1.1.2021 bis zum 31.12 nehme.

Bis dahin kommen hier noch schnell meine jeweiligen Top 100 Songs und Interpreten bei Last.fm von 2019 und 2020 (hab seit 2019 Spotify Premium, alles davor ist nicht aussagekräftig). Finde es sehr interessant wie extrem sich mein Geschmack in 2 Jahren verändert hat.
