- New Japan Pro Wrestling gab in dieser Woche das Line-up für das große "G1 Climax 30" bekannt. Vom 19. September bis 19. Oktober 2020 werden 20 Stars um den Sieg und den damit verbundenen Platz im Main Event von "Wrestle Kingdom 15" am 04. Januar 2021 im Tokyo Dome kämpfen. Alle Shows werden Live und wahlweise mit japanischem oder englischem Kommentar auf NJPWWorld.com ausgestrahlt. Nachfolgend die Blöcke.

- In einem Interview hat der ehemalige WWE-Wrestler Tanga Loa (fka Camacho) kürzlich verraten, dass sein Vertrag mit New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) noch in diesem Jahr endet. Der mehrfache IWGP Tag Team Champion gab an, im Jahr 2019 nur einen Einjahresvertrag unterzeichnet zu haben, nachdem er zuvor mehrere Jahre als Freelancer für die Promotion in den Ring stieg. Der 37-jährige fügte an, dass er sich in guten Gesprächen mit NJPW befindet und man sich nach der aktuellen Coronavirus-Pandemie zusammensetzen möchte.
- Ab der kommenden Nacht wird die zweite Ausgabe von "Fighting Spirit Unleashed 2020" auf dem hauseigenen Streaming Service NJPWWorld zu sehen sein. Am Montag hatte der englischsprachige Twitter-Account die gesamte Matchcard verkündet. Unter Anderem werden die früheren WWE-Wrestler TJP & ACH in einem Tag Team Match zu sehen sein, Rocky Romero und Danny Limelight werden sich in einem Rematch von "NJPW Strong" erneut gegenüberstehen, und David Finlay & PJ Black treffen auf die Guerrillas of Destiny (Tama Tonga & Tanga Loa). Im Main Event wird der "NEW JAPAN CUP "-Gewinner KENTA seinen No. 1 Contenderstatus gegen seinen Halbfinalgegner Jeff Cobb aufs Spiel setzen.

Aufgrund der Coronavirus-Pandemie hatte man das wichtigste Singles Tournament der Company verschoben und das Teilnehmerfeld auf 10 Wrestler verkleinert. Wie üblich werden die Spitzenreiter der beiden Blöcke im Finale den Sieger des Turniers ausmachen, der dann eine Chance auf die Triple Crown Championship erhalten wird. - Im Juli hatten wir HIER darüber berichtet, dass Pro Wrestling NOAH (NOAH) und Dramatic Dream Team (DDT) in Zukunft eine gemeinsame Promotion mit den Namen "CyberFight" bilden werden. CyberAgent, der Mutterkonzern der beiden Companys, veröffentlichte kürzlich die Geschäftszahlen des Jahres 2018/2019 und dabei wurde ein Grund dafür deutlich, warum NOAH und DDT nun enger zusammenarbeiten. So verzeichnete DDT im Geschäftsjahr 2018/2019 einen Verlust von 2018/2019 von 808.000 US-Dollar, bei NOAH waren es im selben Zeitraum sogar 903.000 US-Dollar.
- Am 18. September startet NOAHs großes "N-1 VICTORY"-Tournament. Im Zeitraum vom 18. September bis zum Finale am 11. Oktober werden 12 Wrestler in zwei Blöcke á 6 Personen eingeteilt. Der Sieger des Turniers wird eine Chance auf die GHC Heavyweight Championship erhalten.
Im Zuge des Turniers wird Pro Wrestling NOAH (NOAH) im September auch erstmals einen iPPV auf FITE.TV präsentieren. So wird die Mittagsshow des vierten "N-1 VICTORY"-Tages Live und OnDemand zu sehen sein. Die Show ist für umgerechnet 13€ und auch mit englischsprachigem Kommentar erhältlich.

- In Zeiten der Coronaviruskrise rückt auch das Wrestlingbusiness stellenweise näher zusammen. So gaben die JOSHI-Promotions Stardom, Ice Ribbon, PURE-J, OZ Academy, Sendai Girls, Marvelous, SEAdLINNNG, Pro Wrestling WAVE und HEARTS auf einer Pressekonferenz eine Zusammenarbeit an. Insbesondere da es um die Beziehungen zwischen den Promotions nicht immer zum Besten bestellt ist, darf man diese Ankündigung durchaus als große Sache ansehen. Am 01. Oktober wird man eine erste gemeinsame Show im Ueno Park veranstalten.
- New Japan Pro Wrestling gab in dieser Woche das Line-up für das große "G1 Climax 30" bekannt. Vom 19. September bis 19. Oktober 2020 werden 20 Stars um den Sieg und den damit verbundenen Platz im Main Event von "Wrestle Kingdom 15" am 04. Januar 2021 im Tokyo Dome kämpfen. Alle Shows werden Live und wahlweise mit japanischem oder englischem Kommentar auf NJPWWorld.com ausgestrahlt. Nachfolgend die Blöcke.

- In einem Interview hat der ehemalige WWE-Wrestler Tanga Loa (fka Camacho) kürzlich verraten, dass sein Vertrag mit New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) noch in diesem Jahr endet. Der mehrfache IWGP Tag Team Champion gab an, im Jahr 2019 nur einen Einjahresvertrag unterzeichnet zu haben, nachdem er zuvor mehrere Jahre als Freelancer für die Promotion in den Ring stieg. Der 37-jährige fügte an, dass er sich in guten Gesprächen mit NJPW befindet und man sich nach der aktuellen Coronavirus-Pandemie zusammensetzen möchte.
- Ab der kommenden Nacht wird die zweite Ausgabe von "Fighting Spirit Unleashed 2020" auf dem hauseigenen Streaming Service NJPWWorld zu sehen sein. Am Montag hatte der englischsprachige Twitter-Account die gesamte Matchcard verkündet. Unter Anderem werden die früheren WWE-Wrestler TJP & ACH in einem Tag Team Match zu sehen sein, Rocky Romero und Danny Limelight werden sich in einem Rematch von "NJPW Strong" erneut gegenüberstehen, und David Finlay & PJ Black treffen auf die Guerrillas of Destiny (Tama Tonga & Tanga Loa). - Am morgigen Samstag startet der diesjährige "Champion Carnival" von All Japan. Aufgrund der Coronavirus-Pandemie hatte man das wichtigste Singles Tournament der Company verschoben und das Teilnehmerfeld auf 10 Wrestler verkleinert. Wie üblich werden die Spitzenreiter der beiden Blöcke im Finale den Sieger des Turniers ausmachen, der dann eine Chance auf die Triple Crown Championship erhalten wird. Alle Shows werden auf dem Streaming Service AJPW.TV ausgestrahlt.

- Im Juli hatten wir HIER darüber berichtet, dass Pro Wrestling NOAH (NOAH) und Dramatic Dream Team (DDT) in Zukunft eine gemeinsame Promotion mit den Namen "CyberFight" bilden werden. CyberAgent, der Mutterkonzern der beiden Companys, veröffentlichte kürzlich die Geschäftszahlen des Jahres 2018/2019 und dabei wurde ein Grund dafür deutlich, warum NOAH und DDT nun enger zusammenarbeiten. So verzeichnete DDT im Geschäftsjahr 2018/2019 einen Verlust von 2018/2019 von 808.000 US-Dollar, bei NOAH waren es im selben Zeitraum sogar 903.000 US-Dollar.
- Am 18. September startet NOAHs großes "N-1 VICTORY"-Tournament. Im Zeitraum vom 18. September bis zum Finale am 11. Oktober werden 12 Wrestler in zwei Blöcke á 6 Personen eingeteilt. Der Sieger des Turniers wird eine Chance auf die GHC Heavyweight Championship erhalten.
Im Zuge des Turniers wird Pro Wrestling NOAH (NOAH) im September auch erstmals einen iPPV auf FITE.TV präsentieren. So wird die Mittagsshow des vierten "N-1 VICTORY"-Tages Live und OnDemand zu sehen sein. Die Show ist für umgerechnet 13€ und auch mit englischsprachigem Kommentar erhältlich.

- Die neue Promotion von LIDET Entertainment wird auf den Namen GLEAT hören und am 15. Oktober in der Korakuen Hall in Tokio, Japan ihre erste Show veranstalten. Kiyoshi Tamura gab bekannt, dass man das Vermächtnis der Shoot-Style-Wrestling Promotion UWF fortführen will. Nosawa Rongai wird als Chief Strategy Officer für GLEAT tätig sein, während Kaz Hayashi den Job des Chief Technical Officers übernimmt. Riki Choshu wird als Berater fungieren. - In Zeiten der Coronaviruskrise rückt auch das Wrestlingbusiness stellenweise näher zusammen. So gaben die JOSHI-Promotions Stardom, Ice Ribbon, PURE-J, OZ Academy, Sendai Girls, Marvelous, SEAdLINNNG, Pro Wrestling WAVE und HEARTS auf einer Pressekonferenz eine Zusammenarbeit an. Insbesondere da es um die Beziehungen zwischen den Promotions nicht immer zum Besten bestellt ist, darf man diese Ankündigung durchaus als große Sache ansehen. Am 01. Oktober wird man eine erste gemeinsame Show im Ueno Park veranstalten.
