- Bei der aktuellen SmackDown Ausgabe kam es erneut zu einem Comeback eines ehemaligen NXT-Rohdiamanten von Triple H. Tegan Nox eilte Liv Morgan nach einer Attacke von DAMAGE CTRL zu Hilfe. Die Waliserin wurde im November 2021 von der Company entlassen, nachdem sie im Draft kurz zuvor noch zu RAW gedraftet wurde, wo sie jedoch kein einziges Match bestreiten durfte.

- Für die kommenden Weeklies wurden bereits einige Matches bestätigt. Bei RAW verteidigen The Usos die Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships gegen Matt Riddle und Elias. Die Sieger des Matches treffen in einem weiteren Titelmatch bei SmackDown am Freitag gegen Drew McIntyre und Sheamus an. Ronda Rousey kehrt zurück und unterstützt Shayna Baszler als Ringbegleitung, da Baszler gegen Shotzi antritt. Außerdem ist eine Geburtstagsfeier für Olympiasieger und WWE Hall Of Famer Kurt Angle angekündigt.

- Cody Rhodes' Reha verläuft laut eines Berichts von Dave Meltzer im Wrestling Observer Newsletter sehr gut. Der 37-Jährige kann bereits wieder Gewichte stemmen und hat auch wieder volle Bewegungskontrolle in seinem Arm. Wann genau er zurückkehren wird, ist aber nach wie vor unklar, zumal WWE ihn wohl als Überraschung zurückbringen möchte. Der "Royal Rumble"-PPV am 28. Januar 2023 wird aber nach wie vor heiß als Zeitpunkt gehandelt.

- Wie WWE Co-CEO Stephanie McMahon während des "Wells Fargo TMT Summit", einer Medienveranstaltung preisgab, läge ihr Fokus aktuell auf dem internationalen Wachstum der Company. Unter anderem prüfe sie die Möglichkeiten, einer gewaltigen Stadion-Live-Show in Australien.
Stephanie McMahons Aussagen im Wortlaut:

“In addition to that, international is the focus for us, as we have discussed in the past but now we really have the opportunity to create what we call ‘global localization’ or ‘glocal’ where we can create local Performance Centers with local talent, replicate the lines of business that we have here in WWE and do it on a much smaller scale but ultimately, hopefully that’ll ladder up into the bigger product and potentially then creating a World Cup-type scenario which would be fun and exciting. It also then of course is an opportunity for talent to rotate throughout and we can have local stars that can ultimately come up to the main roster of WWE.”

“You look at our new deal in Australia with Foxtel, where we need to bring a stadium event to Australia as well and how are we looking at that in terms of our international Premium Live Events? How does that work in terms of our domestic strategy?… How are we gonna be able to maximize our opportunities there?”
